What is your current project?

“Wicked Clone or how to deal with the evil” cinema musical based on the Barnes & Noble art best seller novel “Wicked Clone or how to deal with the evil” written by Mihaela Modorcea

Where are you performing it and why is it the right fit for your piece?

We are performing the Wicked Clone cinema musical at the Elektra Theatre on September 8th at 7pm at the New York New Works Festival! Double excited!

What’s next for you?

Having the “Wicked Clone or how to deal with the evil” cinema musical become a long-running off Broadway show, the Wicked Clone music album that is part of the musical (and which includes 21 original compositions) reaching the Billboard Music charts and the Wicked Clone novel which is the foundation of our Wicked Clone project reaching and transforming the lives of many many readers. Last but not least, we would like to sponsor and help as many children and orphans in need as we can realize their creative dreams as well. We know how important it is to have someone believe in you and support your talent.

Who is your biggest inspiration right at this moment and why?

God because He is our endless source of Love and Inspiration and the One who has guided us in our creative Journey. We are so grateful for the gifts He has endowed us with and all we want is to share His Love!

Mihaela & Gabriela Modorcea are American professional actresses, singers, writers/songwriters, composers, music producers based in New York City. Together they make up the duo Indiggo Twins (www.indiggotwins.com). Their roots are in Transylvania, Romania. Both twins majored in Acting, having graduated from the National University of Theatre and Cinematographic Arts of Bucharest with maximum credits; they played the leads in the award-winning musical “The Two Orphans”, and in several other theatre plays following which they attended acting courses in Cologne-Germany and New York. The twins were recently featured and credited as writers and performers on the multi-platinum and 4 times Grammy award-winning album “Watch The Throne” of Jay-Z and Kanye West, specifically on “Murder To Excellence” reviewed as “the centerpiece of the album”. The twins are in production for their “Wicked Clone” Broadway musical which is entirely written, composed, choreographed by them and based on Mihaela’s 544 realism novel “Wicked Clone or how to deal with the evil”, a Barnes and Noble art bestseller featuring 21original compositions from the twins’ upcoming US album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JoDSxxbnJJM Mihaela and Gabriela debuted their theatre show “Wicked Clone” on June 21st 2012 at the Ensemble Studio Theatre in NYC following which Imagem, the biggest independent music publisher in the world signed Indiggo Twins on the spot. Europe-wide the twins’ music was released under Sony BMG and featured in 20 countries; In the US Indiggo twins have worked with top music producers Swizz Beatz, Peter Zizzo, Rockwilder, Paul Oakenfold. Gabriela plays piano while Mihaela plays guitar, they speak four languages and can sing in seven. Mihaela is the fashion designer of the duo whereas Gabriela is the music producer.
